LMFAO! Harry and Ginny had like, what, two scenes in OoTP, compared to all the moments Hermione spent supporting and comforting Harry through his most difficult year? As for HBP, the only basis JKR gave you to support your ship was Harry’s Oedipus complex—his lust for the girl who looks EXACTLY like his mother. A guy can stop having vague “sisterly” feelings for a girl he isn’t related to, but by the time he marries the woman who looks like his mother—that’s just downright Freudian. Harry and Hermione have the strongest basis for a ship, because she’s been there supporting him FROM THE BEGINNING. If there was any one character who was with Harry until the very end, it was HERMIONE. She never left his side, even when Ron did TWICE. As for the movies, Bonnie and Dan have terrible chemistry—but I don’t blame Dan for that. Let’s face it, Bonnie is a terrible actress and pretty much stands there in her scenes like a lifeless non-entity. It’s no wonder H/G have minimal screen time in the films.
